Get Earthed Up!

It's Earth Hour next week and my business signed up to switch off our lights and support WWF's appeal on climate change.

It started as a Sydney thing, and amazingly the whole world has embraced it - hundreds of businesses & individuals all over the globe are signing up every minute (check out the ticker on the website).

We run on green energy, used recycled packaging where possible, but I always feel like we can do more. I'm always open to suggestions on how we can reduce our carbon footprint.

So between 8-9pm on Saturday 29th March, we won't be available - we'll be turning off all our lights, unplugging our laptops & heading down to the beach for a candlelit dinner.

Aussies go Botox mad

According to News Limited, Australians spent more than $300 million on Botox last year. That is an increase of 30% over the previous year.

I personally have never tried the stuff, but my friend recently asked me if I wanted to join her for some needlework. It got me thinking – why do we do it? A little bit can make our tired faces perk up, but too much can lead to… well, Jocelyn Wildenstein.

Have you tried any type of cosmetic surgery? Would you do it again?
