I love hearing about people who find success despite adversity.Lauren Luke is one of those people.
Lauren has quite a cult following on YouTube, with a HUGE 40 million views of her videos. Before that, she was just a single mum living in the North East of England trying to make do working as a telephone operator for a taxi company. Teased for her looks as a child, Lauren now has the ultimate revenge. Success based on the face that her schoolmates ridiculed.
She is working on a book, blogs for The Guardian in the UK, is the online ambassador for Barry M makeup and also has time to post how-to guides every week. Busy lady!
Oh and Lauren has just released a new range of makeup called By Lauren Luke now available at Sephora. Since we can't get a hold of it in Australia, lets take a look at the launch video:
