Welcome!

My name is Naomi & I hail from Sydney, Australia.

Sydney has to be the most beautiful place in the world & I am happy to call it home. Contrary to popular belief, we don't have kangaroos for pets or have wildlife wandering in the streets (in the city anyway) & while we have more killer animals than anywhere else in the world, we spend most of the year in sandals or bare feet. If you want to see the Vienna Boy's Choir, you'll need to go to Austria.

I have a very process-oriented day job in the IT world, which satisfies my geekiness and keeps my OCD in check. It can be very time-consuming, so there are lulls in my postings at times.

Why start a blog? Well, I've loved beauty products since I was a kid. I blame my Grandma, she had the biggest collection of lotions and makeup I'd ever seen & the best part - she would let me play with them! So essentially I was hooked from a young age and I've never looked back.

I also found that there was a voice lacking in traditional media that wasn't being stifled by advertisers.  More information can be found on our editorial policy page.
